Daviess County gave up four runs in the bottom of the third and never fully recovered, losing to Meade County 6-2. Cameron Rickard went 2-4 with an RBI, Logan Mason went 1-3 with an RBI, and Gavin Howard walked twice and scored a run. Weston Lawrence started on the mound, allowing five earned runs over three innings, striking out four, while Anthony Brinkley allowed one earned run over three innings.

The Hornets jumped all over Cannelton in the first inning, scoring 15 runs as they cruised to a 2 8-0 win. Dylan Mucker went 2-4 with four RBIs, Landis Pate and Mason Burk combined for four hits and six RBIs, and Chance Lyday, Blake Rudd, and Jacob Shultz each drove in a pair. Pate started on the mound, striking out four over two shutout innings, while Hayden Cameron and Alex Rhue both pitched in relief.
