William “Joe” Howard, 75, of Owensboro, passed away on April 6, 2026, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Daviess County on July 22, 1950, and was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Mary Helen Howard.
Joe retired from Daramic after many dedicated years as an electrician, taking great pride in his work and the life he built for his family. In retirement, he found joy on the golf course and in the kitchen, where he loved preparing meals to share with those he loved most. Family was at the heart of everything Joe did. He and his wife cherished every moment spent with their grandchildren, creating memories that would last a lifetime. He often smiled, reminiscing about the days when they were small, especially their playful adventures. And when Joe needed a little quiet time, he could almost always be found relaxing in his “man cave.”
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, Kim, Kelly, Ben and Adam Howard, and fur baby, Max.
Those left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 55 years, Vicki Howard; daughter, Mischelle (Brian) Head and Michael Howard; grandchildren, Zach and Briley Head; dear friend, Fred Johnson; as well as many other loving family and friends.
A private celebration will be held to honor Joe’s life.
Care entrusted to Cardinal Cremation Society.
