Apollo split their doubleheader, while Owensboro Catholic and Trinity (Whitesville) both won. In other action, Owensboro fell to Clearwater Central Catholic.

Apollo splits doubleheader

In a road doubleheader, Apollo beat Strongsville 9-3, but lost to East Lincoln 2-0. In their win, Jackson Carder led the way on the mound, allowing two earned runs over 6 2/3 innings striking out seven. Ryleigh Logan recorded the final out in relief. At the plate, Logan went 2-4, Jagger Pate drove in a pair of runs, and Carder went 1-5.

Clearwater Central Catholic 8, Owensboro 1

Ty Ashley went 2-3, and Griffin Gaddis scored as the Red Devils fell to Clearwater Central Catholic 8-1. Jordan Quesnell went 1-3 with an RBI, while M Kahn finished 1-2. Landon Wink started on the mound, allowing two earned runs over two innings, while Brayden Toler and Quesnell both pitched in relief.

Owensboro Catholic 10, Greenwood 7

Jaxson White went 2-4 with a homer and two RBIs to power the Aces past Greenwood 10-7. Jude Evans drove in a pair of runs, while Mason Russelburg finished 2-3. Barrett Evans allowed five earned runs over five innings, striking out five, while White pitched two innings in relief.

Trinity (Whitesville) 13, Warren Central 3

Cale Boarman tripped twice and drove in four runs as the Raiders beat Warren Central 13-3. RJ Cecil drove in a pair of runs, while Grant Howard scored twice and finished 1-3 with an RBI. Howard started on the mound, allowing two earned runs over four innings, while Isaac Hernandez pitched in relief.
