Apollo beat Horseheads 5-3 in a 14-inning thriller, while McLean County and Owensboro both won. In other action, Daviess County and Owensboro Catholic both fell short.

Apollo 5, Horseheads 3

Tied 3-3 in the top of the 14th, Ty Lillpop hit an in the park homerun to fuel the Aces to a 5-3 win over Horseheads. Lillpop finished 3-7 with three RBIs, Ace Lillpop went 3-4, and Geordyn Stevens went 2-5. Jagger Pate started on the mound, allowing three earned runs, while Isaac James, Ross Milburn, and Ryleigh Logan combined for 11 shutout innings and 13 strikeouts.

Great Crossing 6, Daviess County 1

Ethan Vinson went 1-2 with an RBI as the Panthers lost to Great Crossing 6-1. Anthony Brinkley started on the mound, allowing two earned runs over 4 1/3 innings, while Jarrett Maxey and Rylan Clemons both pitched in relief.

McLean County 24, Dayton 0

Corbin Martin doubled twice and drove in six runs to power the Cougars past Dayton 24-0. Jaelin Groves went 2-2 with two RBIs, while Brooks Lynam, Zach Albin, Layden Bozarth, Jaxton Ward, and Jayden Taylor each drove in a pair of runs. Groves and Nash Lee combined to throw four perfect innings, striking out 11.

Owensboro 7, IMG Academy (Bradenton), FL 1

The Red Devils scored three runs in the top of the second and never looked back, beating IMG Academy 7-1. Ty Ashley went 2-3 with an RBI, Griffin Gaddis and Jordan Quesnell both drove in a pair of runs, and Max Kahn finished 1-4 with an RBI.

Arnold 9, Owensboro Catholic 2

The Aces fell behind 3-1 early and never fully recovered, losing to Arnold 9-2. recovered. Mason Moser finished 2-4, Tucker Evans went 2-3, and Mason Russelburg went 1-1 and drew three walks. Lane Hundley allowed four earned runs over four innings, striking out five, while Russelburg pitched in relief.
