Returning to action after a week off, the Lady Panthers split their doubleheader, beating Penn 14-3 and losing to Logansport 5-1. Against Penn, Molly Hancock hit three homers and drove in eight runs, Kylie Clark went 202 with an RBI, and Annie Newman scored four runs. Storey Hume threw a complete game in the circle, allowing two earned runs over five innings and striking out one.
Hickman County 2, Hancock County 1
In a battle of starting pitchers, the Lady Hornets had little answer for Hickman County’s Blair Byassee, falling 2-1. Audrey Carnes drove in the team’s lone run, while Gracie Gaynor went 2-3. Gaynor threw a complete game in the circle, allowing two earned runs over six innings, striking out six.
