Diane Woods, 71, of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at her home while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born March 7, 1955 in Muhlenberg County to the late Belmont and Remonia Woods. Diane loved spending time with her grandchildren and adored her dogs, McGhee and the late Ollie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Vicky Woods.
She is survived by her children, Hanna Unsel (B.J.) and Adam Bell; grandchildren, Madison, Isaac, Jaxson, Nora, and Kieren; great grandchildren, Cortland, Walker, and Oaklyn; sister, Tammy Howard (Mike); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
