
Larry “Duck” O’Bryan, 80, of Owensboro, passed away on April 12, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born in Owensboro on April 23, 1945, to the late James C. and Martine (Murphy) O’Bryan.
Duck enjoyed the simple things in life. He liked playing cards, watching NASCAR, and spending time around antique cars. He also loved fishing and being outdoors. More than anything, he treasured time with his family. His greatest joy came from being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who meant the world to him and brought him so much happiness.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by several siblings.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 34 years, Anna O’Bryan; his children, Lori (James) Constant, Kenny (Bonnie) O’Bryan, and Danny (Trista) Boyle; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his siblings, Richard, Joe, Danny, Jerry, Roger, and Tommy; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited for a celebration of life on April 19, 2026, at O’Bryan’s Bar and Grill from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
