Marcell Beliles Reynolds, 95, of Owensboro, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026 in Montgomery, Alabama. She was born April 13, 1930, in Butler County, KY to the late Lloyd and Hallie McCoy Beliles.
On January 7, 1953, Marcell married Forest “Tot” Reynolds, who preceded her in death in 2023. They were married for 70 years.
She was a long-time member of Pleasant Valley Community Church. Marcell worked the Grid Lines at G.E. for 46 years before retiring. She was a bit of a sunworshipper, spending many springs and summers with the family at French Island on the Ohio River enjoying friends and music around a campfire. Friday nights were “Rook” nights at the Reynolds household. Marcell was an avid quilter, leaving the family with many of her fine quilts.
Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her seven siblings, Evanell McCoy, Lorell Mayhew, Denver, Thel, Wayne, and Denzil Beliles.
Mrs. Reynolds is survived by a son, Terry Reynolds; grandchildren, Jeff (April) Reynolds, Kevin Stinnett and Karen Ellis; eight great grandchildren; and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will be 12-1:30 am prior to the service. Burial will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
