Tina Marie Brooks, 34, of Owensboro, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2026. She was born on October 3, 1991, in Owensboro, to Sam and Shelly Wright Scalf. Tina will be remembered as a loving wife, a mother whose kids were her world, and as an excellent homemaker. She also enjoyed reading books, listening to her favorite music, and loving on her dear four-legged companions.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Peggy Wright.
Tina is survived by her husband, Tim Brooks; children, Lexie, Leah, and Alyssa “KK” Brooks and Addy and Grayson Whitefeather; mother, Shelly Scalf; father, Sam Scalf; sisters, Tiffany Scalf and Christal (Bill) Newcomb; also, several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
The funeral service for Tina will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial to follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 3 until 7 p.m. on Friday and from 10 until 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
