Byron E. Davisson, age 75 of Fordsville, KY, passed away April 26, 2026, at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born in Owensboro, KY on September 26, 1950, son of the late J C and Cara Rhodes Davisson. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a member of Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, and a retired electrician with IBEW Local 1701. Byron enjoyed the outdoors and loved doing everything – especially hunting, fishing and motorcycle riding. He looked forward to gatherings with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Linda Early.
Byron is survived by his companion Jeanette Bean of Fordsville, KY
Daughter: Kristi Smith (Bill) of Hartford, KY
2 grandchildren: Coty Brown (Summer) and Jessica Dennis (Miles)
3 great grandchildren: Hydee Tichenor, Hayden and Heslee Dennis
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 2 PM. Burial with military honors will be in the Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 AM on Friday. All times are central.
