Bonnie Sue Carman, age 81, of Harned, KY, passed away May 18, 2026, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. Bonnie was born on August 22, 1944, daughter of the late Wayne and Margaret Gray Spurrier. She was a member of Garfield Baptist Church and retired from Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, where she was an admitting clerk and receptionist. She was a former deputy with the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office, having served under Sheriff Stinnett and Sheriff Kennedy. She enjoyed the outdoors – mowing her yard, tending to her flowerbeds, riding horses and attending shows and her pets. She was a devoted wife to Don and loving mother to Brian.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Ron “Butch” Spurrier and sister Brenda Sebastian.

A niece and several nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Garfield Baptist Church on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 11 AM with burial in the Kingswood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Thursday, 3:30 – 8 PM and Friday after 8:30 AM.
