Summer just got sweeter for peach lovers in the Owensboro area. The Peach Truck has announced its 2026 summer product lineup, including the return of the company’s popular 25-pound box of peaches, along with scheduled stops in Owensboro and Evansville on June 25.

After continued customer demand, the company is again offering its signature 25-lb Big Box, which includes roughly 45 to 55 fresh Georgia peaches. The smaller 12-lb box, which has also gained popularity in recent years, will return for the 2026 season as well.

According to The Peach Truck’s online schedule, the company will stop June 25 at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store on Frederica Street in Owensboro and at Big Sandy Superstore in Evansville.

In addition to the box options, the company has continued expanding its home delivery program with updated offerings designed to provide more flexibility and convenience for customers.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to bring this back,” the company said in a statement on social media. “It’s been hard to hold this news in!”

The Peach Truck was founded in 2012 by Stephen Rose, who spent part of his high school years in Owensboro before later moving to Nashville. Originally from Georgia, Rose said he was disappointed by the lack of flavorful peaches available in Tennessee.

Determined to bring the taste of fresh Georgia peaches to customers across the South, Rose and his wife, Jessica, purchased a 1964 Jeep truck and began selling peaches directly from it. Within a month, they had sold more than 10 tons of fruit, launching what would become a nationwide business.

“When people experience fruit from The Peach Truck, they are astounded by the delicious difference between freshly-picked produce compared to the offerings at their grocery store,” the company states on its website.

The Peach Truck’s 2026 offerings promise another summer of fresh peaches and expanded ordering options for customers across the country.
