Rebecca Ann Quinn, 88, of Owensboro took her heavenly flight on Friday, May 29, 2026. She was born on January 23, 1938 in Daviess County to the late Eli Hester and Maggie Howard Hester. She enjoyed playing the piano and singing at Ridgewood Baptist Church, gardening and tending to her flowers, hanging out with her McDonald’s friends, attending family reunions, and Sunday lunch with family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John Quinn; a son, Jeffrey Ray Quinn; a grandson, Clinton Michael Quinn; and siblings, Amelia Basket, Mary Frances Haire, Joyce Wedding, Margaret Justus, James Eli Hester, and Gilbert Hester.
Survivors include her son, Tony Quinn; three great-grandchildren, Lilly Ann Baggett (Lee), Maggy Mae Quinn (Joseph Murphy), and Colton Wade Quinn; a brother, Rev. Bob Hester; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Entombment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation is from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
