James ‘Jim’ Arthur Davies, 95, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Signature Healthcare at Hillcrest. He was born on March 9, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Arthur and Alyce Flahaven Davies. He was a member of Christ Community Church and was a member of the Michigan National Guard. Jim was an avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Bonnie Speer Davies; daughter, JoDee Merrell (Daniel); 3 grandchildren, Brian Wilhelm (Tina), Jason Wilhelm and Jeremy Wilhelm; step-children, Traci Braden Siemens, Charles Braden (Allison) and Sue Braden Brockway (Jay Ritter); 14 step-grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3:00pm to 6:00pm on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory.
