Beaver Dam Amphitheater has announced that comedy-country performer Wheeler Walker Jr. will bring his farewell tour to Beaver Dam on October 17.
The stop is part of Walker’s recently announced Pullin’ Out: The Farewell Tour, which will follow the Sept. 25 release of his final studio album, Pullin’ Out. The Beaver Dam show is currently the only Kentucky date on the tour and will be the third stop of the nationwide run, which concludes May 15, 2027, at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.
Walker, whose real name is Ben Hoffman, was born and raised in Lexington. Known for blending country music with adult-oriented comedy and satire, Walker has built a national following over the past decade. He has earned five consecutive No. 1 albums on Billboard’s Comedy Chart and has amassed more than 1 billion career streams.
Due to the nature of the performance, the Beaver Dam show will be restricted to guests ages 21 and older.
“Our goal is always to ensure that guests clearly understand the type of entertainment being presented so they can make informed decisions about attendance,” said Heath Eric, spokesperson for Beaver Dam Amphitheater. “Throughout the year, we host a wide variety of events, ranging from family-friendly concerts and festivals to performances specifically intended for adult audiences. Wheeler Walker Jr. falls into the latter category.”
Public tickets go on sale June 12 at 10 a.m. Central Time. Artist presales begin June 9, while venue presales begin June 10. Fans can sign up through the amphitheater’s website for presale information.
