
Mary Ann Curtis, 67, of Central City, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky.
Born on June 16, 1958, in Greenville, Kentucky, Mary was the daughter of Ada Sue Vincent Alexander and the late Ray Dan Alexander. She dedicated many years of service to the Muhlenberg County Board of Education, where she worked as a teacher’s aide before her retirement.
In addition to her father, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Glenn Alexander; and her in-laws, Kenneth F. Curtis and Veronica Joan Curtis.
Mary leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories with her devoted husband of 41 years, Kenneth Curtis, Sr. of Central City; her children, Angela Curtis of Central City, Kenneth B. (Jessica) Curtis II of Powderly, and Alexandria Curtis of Central City; her mother, Ada Sue Alexander of Dunmor; her siblings, Dorothy Alexander of Dunmor, Eddie (Sherry) Alexander of Lewisburg, Jackie (Andy) Anderson of Dunmor, and David (Shawn) Alexander of Drakesboro; and her beloved grandchildren, Amber Robinson and Kellen Curtis.
Memorial services are pending at this time. William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Curtis.
