Bob enjoyed drag racing and being a driver where he actually won several races including the Gator National at Daytona. He was also a mechanic for Owensboro native race car driver, Darrell Waltrip. Bob loved playing outlandish practical jokes and was a long-standing member of Owensboro Christian Church.
