Justin Michael Utley, 35, of Morganfield, was taken from the world too soon on June 13, 2026. Born on March 22, 1991, in Henderson, Justin brought with him a heart of gold that he shared freely with the world. He could make conversation with anyone and would go out of his way to help someone in need. Justin had the ability to make everyone feel seen, appreciated and loved. He was a proud father, and his boys were the center of his world. He worked hard in the oil fields, a job he “loved to hate”, to provide for and spoil his boys every chance he had.
If Justin wasn’t at home, chances were he was on the river in his boat, where he felt most at peace. He had no desire to travel far, content staying close to home and on the water he knew best. He also enjoyed working on vehicles, loved to cut up and be a little rowdy, and never passed up the chance to have a good time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carolyn Utley, Joe Utley, and Jake Vinson.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Lori (Tom) Vinson; father, Lance (Heather) Ricketts; sons, Kayson Michael and Tulson Allen-Sue; siblings, Crew Utley, Trey Vinson, Gavin Ricketts, Lucas Ricketts, Taylor Vinson, Kyle Vinson, and Tyler Hargrove; niece and nephew, Avery Tatum and Jepson Cade; as well as many other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
