
CENTRAL CITY – Imogene Heltsley Tudor, 91, of Central City, died Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital Long Term Care in Greenville.
Ms. Tudor was born December 1, 1934 in White Plains, KY. She was a member of the first graduating class from Muhlenberg Central High School in 1953 and was a cheerleader for three years. Ms. Tudor worked for Bell South as a telephone operator for five years, was the owner of Lucy’s Tiny Tots for 28 years, and co-owner of Tudor’s Evergreen Nursery. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Central City. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Jimmy Lynn Tudor; mother, Lucille Noffsinger Fleming; father, Esther Sherley Heltsley; and step-father, Gilbert Fleming.
She is survived by two daughters, Jowanna (Mark) Bandy, and Jennifer Tudor Vincent; four grandchildren, Kacey (Scott) Stafford, Ashley (Kyle) Keating, Bryan (Natalie) Buchanan, and Haley (Clay) Cornett; eight great-grandchildren, Hazel Stafford, Asa Buchanan, Amos Stafford, Abby Buchanan, Kyley Keating, Ally Buchanan, Tripp Cornett, and Daisy James Cornett; and one brother, Jimmy Ford Fleming.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 12PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Scott Casebier officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday at 10AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
