Amy ‘Gu Gu’ Maung, 52, of Owensboro, KY, passed away on Thursday, June 18 ,2026. She was born on October 5, 1973 in Myanmar to the late U San Kyi and Daw Mary Than. Amy worked at Tyson Foods as a translator and trainer.
She is survived by her husband, Ah Htoo Maung; and daughter, Mary Htoo.
Funeral services will be held from 12:30pm to 2:00pm on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at James H. Davis Funeral & Crematory. Burial will follow the service at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 11:45am to 12:30pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
