Jane Ann Nuckols, 90, of Owensboro, passed away in the comfort of her home on June 23, 2026. She was born on August 6, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Russell and Nancy Haase.
Jane had a love for travel, especially her trips to the Everglades. She was an avid reader who enjoyed a wide range of books, from classic English literature to modern mystery. A proud member of the American Association of Women and Alpha Xi Delta sorority, Jane valued education, friendship, and service to others. She was actively involved in civic affairs in DeKalb County and was always looking for ways to help her community grow and thrive.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 66 years, N.T. “Tom” Nuckols; son, Tommy (Dawn) Nuckols; sister, Nancy Mitchell; granddaughter, Georgia Nuckols; as well as many other loving family and friends.
