Wanda Jackson Veach 63, of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away Sunday, July 5, 2026 at Western State Nursing Facility in Hopkinsville. Wanda Jean Frailey was born February 13, 1963 in Calhoun, Kentucky to the late Robert Edward and Loretta Pryor Frailey, was married to Anthony Lee Jackson, until his death on March 22, 2001, and was later married to William Anthony Veach, Sr. on December 12, 2007.
Wanda earlier worked at Premium Allied Tool in Owensboro and a member of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed caring for her flowers and spending time with both her family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and first husband, Wanda was preceded in death by her son, Jr. Jackson.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Tony Veach; a daughter, Mishele Cunningham of Tell City, Indiana; two granddaughters, Destiny Cunningham and Hannah Jackson; a brother, Bob Frailey of Calhoun; and six sisters, Lorene Hess of Calhoun, Nora Phillips of Sacramento, Joyce Layer of Calhoun, Betty Greer of Central City, Linda Fuller (Wendell) of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Dorothy Alexander (Gary) of Owensboro.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel. Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Wanda’s family from 11:30 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. Saturday at Musters in Calhoun.
