Lorice Lynn Montes, age 57 of Harned, KY, passed away July 5, 2026, at U of L Hospital. She was born in Chicago, IL on May 22, 1969. Lorice was a homemaker who loved the Lord, her family and helping others. She enjoyed visits with family and friends and cooking delicious meals for them. Her favorite place to spend a vacation was Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Lorice is preceded in death by her mother Marcella McGinnis and her siblings John McGinnis, Priscilla Warden and Sherry Reynolds.
She is survived by her husband Santiago Genaro Montes of Harned, KY
Daughter- Crystal Hilley of Harned, KY
Grandchildren: Elijah Conner Hilley, Waylon Cole Hilley, Dalton Sebastion Hilley and Cirice Lynn-Kelly Whitworth
Her father – Dexter Reynolds
2 sisters – Ginger Reynolds of West Virginia and Jacqueline Hirsch of Louisville, KY and her children Dylan, Priscella and Hailey
A niece that she raised – Josefina Ann Santillana and her children Penelope and Dallas
Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Thursday, July 9, 2026, 4 – 7 PM with cremation to follow.
