Russell Dewayne Johnson, 73, of Owensboro, KY, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026 while under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky at the Heartford House. He was born on June 23, 1953 in Owensboro to the late Russell H. Johnson and Lois Moore Johnson, who survives. He worked for the Daviess County Board of Education as an AV and Phone repairman.
Survivors in addition to his mother include, his friend, Terry Clark.
Service will be held at 11:00am Friday, July 10, 2026 at the chapel in Rosehill Cemetery. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
