This is a paid release.

Connection Owensboro, a new nonprofit church in Owensboro, will begin weekly worship gatherings on Sunday, July 12, at 1:30 p.m. at the Owensboro Family YMCA.

Connection Owensboro exists to help people connect with Christ, build meaningful relationships, serve the community, and find a church family where they belong. Meeting at the YMCA reflects the church’s desire to be present where people gather and to serve the Owensboro community.

Connection Owensboro is led by Edgar and Enid Ortiz, who felt called to establish a church where people from every background can experience the love of Christ, grow in their faith, and build authentic relationships with others.

“Our hope is that every person who walks through our doors feels welcomed, encouraged, and knows there is a place for them,” said Edgar and Enid Ortiz. “Whether someone has attended church for years, is returning after time away, or is exploring faith for the first time, we want Connection Owensboro to be a place where people can connect with Christ, connect with one another, and find a church family where they belong.”

Weekly worship gatherings begin Sunday, July 12, at 1:30 p.m. at the Owensboro Family YMCA, 900 Kentucky Parkway, Owensboro, KY 42301.

The community is invited to attend.
