Dottie Rae Cook, 86, of Owensboro, passed away on July 18, 2026, under the compassionate care of Hospice of Western KY – Heartford House. She was born on October 14, 1939, in Beattyville to the late Roonie and Alburn Stamper.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Tony Cook, as well as three brothers and three sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory include her partner, Patti Gore; son, Tim (Melissa) Cook; brother, Eddie (Judy) Stamper; grandchildren, Lindsay Calhoun Cook, Jared Calhoun, Alysha Cook Webb, Kaleb Webb, Seth Bruner, Stephanie Cook, and Joey Cook; daughter-in-law, Cyndi Cook; and sister-in-law, “Aunt Ruth” Stamper; as well as many other loving family and friends.
Dottie will be laid to rest privately by her loving family.
