Lois Claudean White

Lois Claudean White, born June 7th, 1928, in Haig, Nebraska passed away peacefully on July 17th, 2026 in Hardinsburg, Kentucky.

Lois was someone who made every single person she met feel loved. To have known her was to genuinely feel loved. She lit up a room with her presence and soon she would have the room filled with laughter from her stories or witty personality.

She had an immense love for all animals, helping youth in 4-H, sewing, reading, arts and crafts, and enjoying every moment, small and big of living in the country one could enjoy. Many youth remember her on the sidelines cheering them on while they showed their livestock 4-H projects, always wanting to help anyone with their 4-H projects, or making delicious sweet treats for them.

Lois believed fiercely in always advocating and caring for children and animals, for they do not have a voice of what happens to them, thus you must protect them, showing everyone kindness because you never know what one may be going through that you do not see, and the importance of one getting a strong education because no one can take your education from you.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Edward White, her twin sons Gary and Larry White, and her daughter Clarice Hinkle.

She is remembered by her grandchildren Rebecka Hazelwood (Patrick) and Calynda Hinkle. Her children Charles White, Coni Chapman (Dave), and Catherine Davis. Her son-in-law Ronald Hinkle (Jana). Her grandchildren Tyler Chapman, Todd Chapman, Tiffany Christenson, Raelene Current, Leesa Sickler, Edward White, Marissa Current, and many great grandchildren.
