Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
Heat Advisory issued July 25 at 11:44PM CDT until July 26 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Paducah KY
* WHAT…Heat index values up to around 105 degrees expected, with
locally higher values possible.
* WHERE…All of southwest Indiana, and neighboring portions of
southeast Illinois, northwest Kentucky, and the Pennyrile region of
western Kentucky east of the Lakes.
* WHEN…From 11 AM CDT /noon EDT/ to 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ Sunday.
* IMPACTS…Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…This Advisory is in effect along and east of a
line from Fairfield, Illinois, to Cadiz, Kentucky.
