The Trinity basketball teams struggled on the road Friday night, as they lost both games of a 12th District doubleheader at Butler County.
Cassidy Morris scored a game-high 29 points and had 13 rebounds for the Lady Raiders (1-3), but they ultimately lost 75-59. Also scoring were Josie Aull (13), Morgan Kinsey (5), Kenzie McDowell (4), Katherine Hibbitt (4),Hadley Hatfield (2) and Allie Graham (2).
The Raiders (2-3) hit 10 3-pointers, but it still wasn’t enough in an 83-66 loss. Ethan Howard led with 17 points, while Kevin Foster hit four 3s for 12 points. Also scoring were Brenden Wathen (8), Landon Huff (8), Landon Hall (7), Ben Goetz (2) and Nick Goetz (2).
Both teams will be back in action Saturday at Todd County Central.
