DCPS, OPS, OCS announce closures due to sickness, low attendance

Daviess County Public Schools, Owensboro Public Schools, Owensboro Catholic Schools, and Heritage Christian School will be closed Thursday and Friday this week due to illness and decreased attendance.

OPS announced that a makeup day for City schools will take place Friday, March 13.

The OCS SCRIP office will open both days at 8 am and all practices and games at OCHS are going on as scheduled.

Competition-based activities at DCPS may proceed as scheduled but non-competitive events are canceled.

Cheer Zone is closed Wednesday night for open gym and closed all day Thursday.
