Officials with the Owensboro Convention Center announced Wednesday that Cork & Cuisine as well as this Friday’s Live on the Lawn have both been rescheduled.
The Christmas holiday themed five-course food, wine and spirits pairing event that was scheduled for today has been moved to 6 p.m. Aug. 6.
No more than six people will be allowed to sit at a 66” banquet table. Guests will not be seated with other parties. Tables will be set 6 feet apart from each other to allow for proper social distancing.
Previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date. For those guests who cannot attend the new date and need to request a refund, contact the ticketing manager at [email protected] by 5 p.m. Friday.
“With the Governor’s new travel advisory that was released earlier this week, we have several non-employees who were crucial to the events that have decided to self-quarantine due to recent travel. We agree with their decision of wanting to be good examples of doing what is in the best interest for the public and look forward to hosting these events in two weeks,” said Spectra’s General Manager Laura Alexander.
Friday’s Live on the Lawn with Andy Brasher presented by Jagoe Homes will be rescheduled for Aug. 7. Admission to this event on the Owensboro Convention Center front lawn is complimentary beginning at 6 p.m. with live music from 7-10 p.m.
The front lawn will be marked off with limited, dedicated 10’x10’ area for guests with 6-foot aisles in between to allow for proper social distancing. Spaces will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Guest can bring their own blankets, lawn chairs and one bottle of water. Concessions and bars will be available on site. Guests in attendance will have to wear a mask or face coverings while not in their designated space.
