Roberts tied for 2nd at Kentucky Amateur after two rounds

Owensboro native Andy Roberts is still tied for second after two rounds at the 106th Clark’s Pump-N-Shop Kentucky Amateur.

Roberts shot a 70 (2-under) Thursday and it currently tied with Paducah’s Joshua Rhodes at 7-under for the tournament.

Kings Mountain’s Alex Goff fired a 67 (5-under) and leads by three shots as he heads into the third round Friday.

Fellow Owensboro native Stephen Warren is currently tied for 51st at 10-over as he shot a 5-over 77 Thursday. Warren is set to make the cut for Friday.

Darrell Vanover (T70, +14) and Hayden Warren (T82, +18) didn’t make the cut after two rounds.
