The Owensboro Times sports honors this week go to Daviess County’s Joe Humphreys and Daviess County’s Hunter Clark.
Humphreys, a junior quarterback for the Panthers, is the Football Player of the Week after receiving the most votes in the weekly poll. Humphreys was 14-of-22 for 291 passing yards and added 90 rushing yards for six total touchdowns (5 passing, 1 rushing) in DC’s win over Marshall County last week.
Clark, a senior soccer player for the Panthers, is the Athlete of the Week after receiving the most votes in the weekly poll. Moore had six goals and three assists in three DC matches.
Next week’s Football and Athlete of the Week polls will open Monday morning and run through Wednesday at 5 p.m.
