Red Devils fall to Warren Central

The Owensboro Red Devils hosted perennial power Warren Central Thursday but were dealt their second loss in as many nights.

The Dragons held OHS to just two goals in their 7-2 victory.

Owensboro plays at 6 p.m. Saturday at home against Oldham County.

E-gals grab win after week layoff

The Apollo E-gals hosted their final home match Thursday as they welcomes Muhlenberg County to AHS and they picked up their third win of the season in the process.

Before Thursday, Apollo’s last game as Sept. 24 in a 3-1 win over McLean County but the layoff didn’t both David Woeste’s squad as they took down the Lady Stallions 2-0.

Caitlyn Blandford led the way with two goals while Emilee McFadden had an assist. JoHannah Hutchinson had four saves in the shutout.

Apollo starts its three-game road trip to end the season Saturday evening at Ohio County.

Purples blank Daviess County

The Daviess County Lady Panthers were shut out for the second time this season Thursday as they fell to Bowling Green on the road.

The Lady Purples controlled the entire game in their 5-0 win.

DC starts a three-game homestand to end the season as the Lady Panthers host Owensboro Catholic Saturday night.
