A total of 136 more cases of COVID-19 and 123 recoveries were announced Friday for the Green River District, including 68 cases and 62 recoveries in Daviess County. One coronavirus-related death each was reported in Daviess, Ohio, Union and Webster counties.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (68), Hancock (5), Henderson (26), McLean (6), Ohio (17), Union (8), Webster (6)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (62), Hancock (3), Henderson (31), McLean (4), Ohio (15), Union (5), Webster (3)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 10,117
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 7,539 (75%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 44
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 560 (6%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 190

- Daviess County – 4,287 cases, 3,109 recovered, 14 current hospitalizations, 204 ever hospitalized, 70 deaths
- Hancock County – 338 cases, 262 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 18 ever hospitalized, 12 deaths
- Henderson County – 2,375 cases, 1,808 recovered, 9 current hospitalizations, 145 ever hospitalized, 43 deaths
- McLean County – 449 cases, 345 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 34 ever hospitalized, 21 deaths
- Ohio County – 1,275 cases, 882 recovered, 12 current hospitalizations, 83 ever hospitalized, 24 deaths
- Union County – 781 cases, 658 recovered, 1 current hospitalizations, 39 ever hospitalized, 10 deaths
- Webster County – 612 cases, 475 recovered, 4 current hospitalizations, 37 ever hospitalized, 10 deaths

- Average age: 45
- Male: 45.1%
- Female: 54.9%

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
