A total of 265 more cases of COVID-19 and 281 recoveries were announced Monday for the Green River District, including 107 cases and 179 recoveries in Daviess County. Two coronavirus-related deaths were reported in Daviess County.
The numbers reflect a four-day period.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (107), Hancock (10), Henderson (105), McLean (5), Ohio (12), Union (13), Webster (13)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (179), Hancock (8), Henderson (43), McLean (7), Ohio (21), Union (13), Webster (10)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 12,250
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 9,162 (75%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 40
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 627 (5%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 217
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 5,435 cases, 3,977 recovered, 27 current hospitalizations, 244 ever hospitalized, 84 deaths
- Hancock County – 402 cases, 300 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 19 ever hospitalized, 12 deaths
- Henderson County – 2,836 cases, 2,086 recovered, 7 current hospitalizations, 158 ever hospitalized, 48 deaths
- McLean County – 524 cases, 407 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 37 ever hospitalized, 21 deaths
- Ohio County – 1,445 cases, 1,127 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 85 ever hospitalized, 30 deaths
- Union County – 899 cases, 722 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 45 ever hospitalized, 9 deaths
- Webster County – 709 cases, 543 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 39 ever hospitalized, 13 deaths

- Average age: 45
- Male: 45.1%
- Female: 54.9%

- 70-79 — 999 cases
- 80+ — 746 cases
The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
