The Brescia Bearcats hit the road Saturday for the semifinals of the RSC Tournament at the University of Rio Grande but Brescia couldn’t keep the magic going into the tournament final.
Rio Grande used a big third quarter to put the game out of reach at Brescia fell 90-68.
Brescia’s Cassidy Moss finished with a game-high 29 points (10-19 FG, 4-10 3PT) and 8 rebounds as Hailey Kendall also finished in double digits with 17 points (8-15 FG, 1-1 3PT).
Caitlyn Brisker led Rio Grande with 20 points while Jocelyn Abraham (15 points) and Chyna Chambers (12 points) also contributed to the win.
