Union County 60, Daviess County 56
The Daviess County Panthers were dealt another close loss Tuesday when they fell to Union County at home.
The Brave used a big third quarter to extend their lead as DC fell short in the 60-56 final.
Cole Burch led the Panthers with 14 points and 8 rebounds while Max Dees also finished in double digits with 11 points and added 8 boards.
Daviess County ends the regular season at 5-12 as the Panthers will now take on Owensboro Catholic in the first round of the 9th District Tournament next week at DC.
Trinity 78, Cloverport 59
The Trinity Raiders snapped a nine-game losing streak Tuesday in a big way as they went on the road and nearly beat Cloverport by 20.
Trinity scored its most points this season in the game as they took down the Aces 78-59.
Denver Dickens led a trio of Raiders in double digits as he led the way with 17 points. Landon Huff (13 points) and Bailey Wright (11 points) also in double figures.
The Raiders hit the road Thursday to take on Union County and wrap up the regular season Saturday at Trigg County. Trinity will play Grayson County in the first round of the 12th District Tournament on Tuesday at THS.

Henderson County 50, Apollo 33
The Apollo E-gals couldn’t make it three in a row Tuesday as they fell to Henderson County at HCHS.
The Lady Colonels turned up the pressure and took down Apollo 50-33.
The E-gals play Friday at the Sportscenter against Graves County.
Breckinridge County 69, Daviess County 51
Daviess County hit the road Tuesday but faced a tall task in the 3rd Region’s winningest team as Breckinridge County grabbed the home win.
The Lady Tigers took the game 69-51 with Daviess County now facing a three-game losing streak with one game left in the regular season.
Katie Mews finished with a game-high 26 points, including 18 in the second half.
The Lady Panthers will play Russellville on Thursday at DC.
Trinity 51, Cloverport 38
The Trinity Lady Raiders picked up their fourth win of the season Tuesday when they hit the road and cruised by Cloverport.
Trinity allowed its least amount of points this season as they took down the Lady Aces 51-38.
Josie Aull continued her hot play with 24 points to lead the Lady Raiders in the victory.
Cassidy Morris added 13 points and 13 rebounds.
Trinity plays Thursday at Union County.
