This week’s Owensboro Times basketball honors go to Daviess County’s Cole Burch and Owensboro Catholic’s Maddie Hayden after each received the most votes in their respective weekly poll.
Burch, a sophomore for the Panthers, is the Boys’ Player of the Week after he had 14 points and 8 rebounds in one game for DC.
Hayden, a sophomore for the Lady Aces, is the Girls’ Player of the Week after she averaged 8.5 ppg in 2 games for Catholic.
