Owensboro Catholic runs by Owensboro
The Owensboro Catholic Aces and Lady Aces took care of business against Owensboro Tuesday at Centre Court with Catholic grabbing both victories.
On the girls’ side, Catholic won 8-1.
Catholic’s Ella Cason, Ella Grace Buckman, Isabella Reisz, Elizabeth Hudson and Julia Marshall grabbed singles wins. Owensboro’s Riley Hunt had the lone Lady Devil singles victory.
In doubles, Emmy Moore/Sarah Kate Young, Aisha Merchant/Olivia Hayden and Claire Augenstein/Katelyn Mitchell earned victories for the Lady Aces.
On the boys’ side, the Aces won 7-2. Cooper Danzer, Matthew Hyland and Davis Brocato has singles wins by Brocato/Bret Conder had the doubles win for Catholic. Owensboro’s Dylan Mather earned the No. 1 singles win for the Red Devils.
