This week’s Owensboro Times baseball and softball honors go to Owensboro’s Jacob Mitchell and Apollo’s Emmie Bullington after each received the most votes in their respective weekly poll.
Mitchell, a junior for the Red Devils, is the Baseball Player of the Week after he was 2-4 (.500) with an RBI and a double in two games for Owensboro.
Bullington, a sophomore for the E-gals, is the Softball Player of the Week after she went 7-14 (.500) with two RBIs and a run at the plate in five games. In the circle, Bullington grabbed three wins and had 10 strikeouts in 18.1 IP for Apollo.
