This week’s Owensboro Times baseball and softball honors go to Apollo’s Tanner Klee and Mallory Velotta after each received the most votes in their respective weekly poll.
Klee, a senior for the Eagles, is the Baseball Player of the Week after he hit .385 (5-13) and had a double, four RBIs and three runs in four games for Apollo.
Velotta, a freshman for the E-gals, is the Softball Player of the Week after she hit .500 (5-10) and had a home run, three RBIs and two runs in four games for Apollo.
