‘Alice in Wonderland’ premieres Friday at TWO, Becky Shaw premiere Oct. 25

Theatre Workshop of Owensboro has several productions planned for the upcoming fall and winter season.

Alice in Wonderland premieres Friday, Oct. 19 at the Empress Theatre and runs this weekend only. Adelyn Lee takes on the role of Alice, along with 45 other actors in the production that is directed by D.S. Wallace. This adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s classic is by Brainerd Duffield.

Showtimes are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

 

Auditions for Best Christmas Pageant Ever will be Saturday, Oct. 20 at 10 a.m. and Sunday, Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. at Trinity Centre, 407 W. Fifth St.

The play will be presented Dec. 7 – 16. TWO is looking for little kids, big kids, parents, teachers, firefighters, etc. Emmy Woosley will be directing the Pageant.

 

On Friday, Oct. 26, Becky Shaw will premiere. This comedy, by Gina Gionfriddo, concerns relationships gone haywire and questions the responsibilities involved in such complications. It is a story for mature audiences and is not recommended for children.

Becky Shaw is directed by Dr. Amanda Dawson in her directorial debut with TWO.

The play will be performed Oct. 26 through Nov. 4. Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and two Sunday Matinees at 2 p.m.

There is a special dinner preview catered by a local restaurant on Thursday, Oct. 25 at 6:30 p.m. at Trinity Centre.
