Owensboro Dance Theatre announces 2024-2025 Company and Apprentice Company members

Owensboro Dance Theatre (ODT) has announced its 2024-2025 Company and Apprentice Company members, featuring a group of dancers who have committed 8-10 hours per week to perfecting their craft. ODT said performers are set to bring a dynamic and colorful season to the stage.

One of the instructors, Jaysie Beth Royal, said ODT’s 2024-2025 season is themed “Dance to Make Life Colorful,” and they promise vibrant performances. The season kicks off with “The German American Bank Nutcracker” on December 7-8, followed by the “Dance Battle Extravaganza” on February 15. The season will close with “In Concert featuring Willy Wonka & The Golden Ticket!” on March 15-16.

In addition to their performances, Royal said the dancers will actively engage in community events, sharing their passion for dance with the tri-state area. 

“Our dancers’ involvement reflects their pride in ODT and commitment to a season filled with creativity and energy,” Royal said. “We’re excited for another season of performances with some of the most talented dancers in the area.”

The Owensboro community is invited to attend the upcoming performances and witness the dancers as they bring their colorful artistry to life.

The Company includes dancers Sydney Adams, McKinley Brown, Emma Burshears, Maddie Burshears, Elli DeHaven, Kenley Grant, Liz Hall, Kate Hammen, Eva Harrison, Anna Morgan Hendrix, Charley Hicks, Hadley Houston, Julia Hyland, Annie Iracane, Maya Krampe, Drew Kurz, Allison McBride, Stalie Midkiff, Adrienne Owens, Brooklyn Porter, Elizabeth Ray, Molly Sandefur, Addison Spurrier, Katie Jane St. Clair, Maddie Strode, Maggie Taylor, Raelee Tutt, Caroline Wathen, and Kate Young.

Joining the Apprentice Company are Brennan Benjamin, Phoebe Brown, Ellie Burshears, Mia Carter, Gracie Davis, Emily Dick, Izzy Hiland, Emerson Houston, Jalayla Huguely, Kaylynn Meyer, Carly Payne, Violet Phelan, Kenessen Schmied, Violet Schwartz, Carter Strawn, and Valerie Yonts.
