Bret Michaels will return to the Beaver Dam Amphitheater on August 15 as part of his LIVE & Amplified 2026 Tour, bringing what organizers describe as one of the summer’s biggest rock events to western Kentucky.

The show, part of the First United Bank & Trust Concert Series, will also feature Buckcherry as a special guest. Gates are set to open at 5:30 p.m., with the concert beginning at 7 p.m.

Presale tickets will be available from April 1 through April 2, with public ticket sales beginning April 3. Fans can sign up for presale access through the venue’s website.

Heath Eric, president and CEO of The Eric Group, said Michaels’ previous performance at the venue in 2019 remains one of its most memorable events.

“When Bret first played the DAM on June 8, 2019, it rained all night long. Not just a drizzle. We are talking absolute downpour. Buckets of rain. And yes, all night long,” Eric said.

Eric said the challenging weather conditions ultimately became part of the show’s legacy.

“But what happened next is the stuff of legend. Bret Michaels didn’t miss a beat. He embraced it. He owned it. He turned what could have been a washout into one of the most unforgettable nights this venue has ever seen,” Eric said. “Fans were soaked, the band was feeling the rain’s spray, and the energy was absolutely electric. That night wasn’t just a concert. It was a moment.”

He said the event had a lasting impact on the venue, including infrastructure changes.

“Bret delivered, and the crowd responded. That night ultimately led us to pour concrete for the entire lower arena, as thousands of fans turned what was then a grassy area into a full-blown rock ’n’ roll mud pit. If you were there, you already know,” he said.

Eric said the amphitheater continues to see strong turnout for major shows and expects another large crowd in August.

“To this day, when we ask fans about their favorite show at The DAM, that night consistently rises to the top. It wasn’t perfect conditions,” he said. “It was something better. It was real. It was raw. It was rock and roll exactly the way it’s meant to be experienced. Lifelong memories were made, and we will never forget it.

“Now, Bret is coming back. And if history tells us anything, you can expect a night full of massive hits, nonstop energy, and a crowd ready to bring it right back with him.”

Eric said this is more than just a concert. It’s a destination event. He said fans travel from across Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee, Ohio, Missouri, and many more surrounding states to be part of nights like this. Back in June 2019, we had fans lined up at the gate at 8:00 am. That kind of impact is what makes Beaver Dam Amphitheater special.

“Hometown hospitality paired with world-class entertainment,” he said. “So get ready and trust me when I say buy the dam tickets. Because on August 15, it’s going to be nothing, and I mean nothing, but a ‘dam’ good time.”

Michaels, best known as the frontman of Poison, has sold more than 100 million records, downloads, and streams worldwide. His career spans music, television, and business ventures, and he continues to tour extensively with a catalog of hit songs and a reputation for high-energy live performances.

Buckcherry, known for its hard rock sound and touring presence, will open the show. The band has built a following over more than two decades with platinum-selling records and energetic performances.

The Beaver Dam Amphitheater, located at 217 S. Main St., regularly draws regional crowds for national touring acts and large-scale concerts throughout the summer season.
