Downtown Owensboro came alive Friday night as crowds gathered along the riverfront for the first Friday After 5 of the season.
The weekly summer event featured live music, food trucks, entertainment, and family activities throughout the downtown area as residents and visitors kicked off the weekend along the riverfront.
This year marks the 30th season of Friday After 5, which has grown into one of Owensboro’s signature summer traditions, regularly drawing thousands of people downtown each week.
The Owensboro Times visited the event Friday evening to capture the atmosphere, music, and excitement surrounding opening night.
