The Owensboro Museum of Fine Art is hosting free virtual art camps due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The camps will consist of instructional videos on Facebook and Instagram which demonstrate art projects for children and parents.

The first online camp show has already been released and is about how to create a small decorative wall hanging that simulates an embossed metal design using basic art supplies. The second video, to be released Friday and Saturday, will lead the viewer in the creation of a paper mobile construction.

Resumption of children’s camps in the museum is planned for the fall season and is contingent upon future lifting of pandemic restrictions. For more information contact the museum at 270-685-3181 or [email protected].
