O.Z. Tyler Distillery will be hosting its first ever Halloween Bash this Saturday, Oct. 27.
The historic Bottling House promises an epic evening of music, cocktails, and costumes. Partygoers should expect upbeat dance music, food trucks, a complimentary specialty cocktail for all, costume prizes, a raffle and much more.
For their inaugural party, they are bringing in award-winning DJ Aaron Traylor from Nashville, decorating the unique venue in festive lighting to set the mood. Aaron has opened for the Chainsmokers, Sir Mix-a-Lot, and T-Pain, plus performed at the Aria in Las Vegas, the Grand Ole Opry, and the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Daniel Hewlette, Head of Visitor Experience, said the evening is meant to be enjoyable, “but it’s mainly about community.”
“We really enjoy creating experiences that are memorable, socially responsible, and that people love — ones you want to share with your friends and are proud to have in your hometown,” Hewlette said.
Tickets are $25. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the party continues until midnight.
Costumes are expected, but not required. Please note, no costume props that appear to be (or could be used as) weapons are allowed.
This is a 21 and over event. Must have valid, government-issued identification to enter the event.
The staff at O.Z. Tyler wants everyone to enjoy themselves at the Halloween Bash and has tried to take some of the worry out of the evening by offering several options for safe rides home.

Halloween might be a busy night and rides could be difficult to obtain at the end of the event, so we highly encourage you to pre-book a safe ride home. Here are some options you could use:
The ride-sharing service Lyft recently expanded to Owensboro. You can get a link to the app (iOS and Android) and a $20 coupon by visiting this link. You can even use the app to schedule a ride, very useful on busy nights.
Limos by Bob. Get driven to and from the event in style! Advance reservations required: 270-314-8971. Rates start at $10 per person for shared van service inside the county. Limo service available for an additional fee.
Event staff will be available throughout the event to assist any guest in obtaining a safe ride home.
