Tickets are still available for the third Annual Bark in Style Fashion Show hosted by Saving Paws Animal Rescue of Kentucky (SparKy) at O.Z. Tyler Distillery on Saturday.

A specially prepared dinner will be served by chef Matt Weaver featuring caprese cups, Argentian meatballs, Spanish roast chicken, Italian Lasagna and bourbon glazed bacon donuts and a chocolate fountain for dessert. A specially-created cocktail, a pink poodle, will be available as well.

Emcee Chad Benefield will entertain the audience as local models walk the catwalk with adoptable pets from SparKy.

“It’s one of my favorite events that I emcee each year,” Benefield said. “You can’t go wrong with a fashion show where dogs get to take over the runway.  It’s like the Puppy Bowl meets New York Fashion Week.”

Benefield and his co-host Angel Welsh have a segment on their WBKR radio morning show each Thursday where they feature a SPARKY Pet of the Week to help secure homes for their furry, little friends. In fact, two of Benefield’s four rescue dogs were adopted from SparKy and both walked the runway at Bark in Style.

The fashion show will feature items from Blush Boutique, Byron and Barclay, Dandelion Wishes, The Earle, Excursions, Kidstop, Peacocks & Pearls and The Sturdy Hinge.

Cocktail hour and the silent auction begins at 5:30 p.m. and the fashion show begins at 7:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. and the silent auction will end at 8:30 p.m. when the live auction begins.

Live auction items include a ladies’ Tissot watch from Lance & Co., a cycle of Coolsculpting and beauty products from Aesthetic Specialists of Owensboro, pet goodies from Towne Square Animal Hospital, a box of cigars from Swedish Match, a pet photo session and canvas from Dream Copy Photography and an at-home teeth whitening system from Center for Cosmetic and General Dentistry.

The event sold out the previous two years and event coordinators say it will again this year. The event sells out at 150 tickets.

O.Z. Tyler Distillery is located at 10 Distillery Road. Tickets are $50 and are available here.
