The Harlem Globetrotters are coming to the Owensboro again this winter. Their world tour will be at the Owensboro Sportscenter at 2 p.m. Dec. 15.
Jessica Beckman, director of the Sportscenter, said she is thrilled to host the Harlem Globetrotters again.
“Not only are they very entertaining, but the organization as a whole is extremely philanthropic,” she said. “Their acts of goodwill and commitment to the fans and their communities set a standard that’s truly inspiring.”
The Harlem Globetrotters are notorious for family entertainment and basketball skills.
“Their fan interaction makes you part of the show, not just a spectator,” Beckman said. “The players are comedians and showcase incredible ball handling. Their slam dunks had me on edge last year. The goals shook and rims-rattled. It was amazing and we are ecstatic to announce their return.”
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday.
